OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! Join Gainesville-Hall County's caring community members, friends in recovery, and family members of loved ones lost to substance use disorders.

J's Place Recovery Center and community partners are hosting Hall Recovers Night of Awareness to recognize those we have lost as a result of substance use disorders and honor those in recovery. The evening will culminate with a candlelight vigil recognizing loved ones we have lost.

This second annual event will be held on International Overdose Awareness Day - August 31st, 2021.

Due to weather we have canceled our in-person event and will instead be live streaming via our Facebook page! We hope you will tune in to hear stories and testimonies, enter raffles/drawings, and honor those we've lost via the candlelight vigil.

This community event is completely free and open to the public! Our generous sponsors have made this possible so that everyone in the community could attend.


Children and families are welcomed!


YES! We know that not everyone will be able to attend in person. Our Hall Recovers Facebook page will be livestreaming the event! You can watch here.


Downtown Gainesville has a free parking deck right next to Roosevelt Square! Simply park here and walk over! 


While a few chairs will be available, we do not have the ability to provide everyone with a seat. We highly encourage people attending to bring their own chairs if they would prefer to sit.


We are always welcoming volunteers for the event for help with setup, tear down, and everything in between! You can fill out the contact form and let us know that you'd like to volunteer.
