OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! Join Gainesville-Hall County's caring community members, friends in recovery, and family members of loved ones lost to substance use disorders.


Those having lost a loved one are encouraged to bring a photo for the Wall of Remembrance.

J's Place Recovery Center and community partners are hosting Hall Recovers Night of Awareness to recognize those we have lost as a result of substance use disorders and honor those in recovery. The evening will culminate with a candlelight vigil recognizing loved ones we have lost. Multi-sport athlete Quincy Carter, a UGA and NFL standout quarterback and MLB player, will discuss his battle with addiction and road to recovery.


HALL RECOVERS T-Shirts will be distributed to the FIRST 100 attendees!  Local recovery motorcycle associations will serve complimentary hamburgers and hot dogs, 

along with FREE shaved ice treats.

This fourth annual event will be held on International Overdose Awareness Day 

August 31st.

This community event is completely free and open to the public! Our generous sponsors have made this possible so that everyone in the community could attend.


Children and families are welcomed!


YES! We know that not everyone will be able to attend in person. Our Hall Recovers Facebook page will be livestreaming the event! You can watch here.


There is plenty of parking at the Police Station near the event.


The Midland venue has amphitheater seating. You may still wish to bring a chair.


We are always welcoming volunteers for the event for help with setup, tear down, and everything in between! You can fill out the contact form and let us know that you'd like to volunteer.


 If you have a business and would like to provide a gift or prize to be raffled off - simply fill out the contact form and let us know! 


Additionally, any donations made will go directly to the Hall Recovers fund to support events like this in the future. Donations can be made online at jsplacerecovery.org.
